Patta at a Glance

Patta does not require an account. We do not operate a user-profile database and do not ask for a name, phone number, precise location, contacts, or financial information. Patta loads public wallpaper catalogs and image files over HTTPS. Requests necessarily expose network information such as an IP address to the hosting provider.

Favorites, appearance choices, custom catalog addresses, rotation settings, imported fonts, semantic-search settings, and prepared wallpaper files are stored locally on the device. Patta disables Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup for its private app data. Clearing app data or uninstalling Patta removes this private local data. Images a user explicitly saves to the public media library remain until the user deletes them.

Information Processed by Patta

• Wallpaper service requests: the wallpaper catalog host or a custom HTTPS catalog selected by the user receives standard connection data such as IP address, request time, requested file, and app user-agent. This is used to deliver and secure content.
• On-device preferences: favorite wallpaper IDs, theme choices, enabled catalogs, auto-rotation interval and destination, and search settings stay in Patta's private storage.
• User-selected files: an imported font or selected image is accessed only after the user chooses it with an Android system picker. Copies needed by Studio or live-wallpaper features are stored in Patta's private storage.
• Image processing: cropping, color effects, depth composition, and supported ML segmentation are performed on the device. Patta does not upload the user's selected image to Alaslife.
• Support: if a user emails us, we receive the address, message, and attachments the user chooses to send.

Advertising and Consent

Patta uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on region, consent, device settings, and Google's configuration, Google and its advertising partners may collect or receive device or other identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app interactions, ad interactions, and diagnostics. They use this information to provide, secure, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure ads.

Where required, Patta displays Google's consent form before requesting ads. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, it is available in Patta under About > Legal > Privacy choices. Permissions

• Internet and network state: load catalogs, wallpaper images, required models, consent information, and ads.
• Set wallpaper: apply a selected wallpaper to the home screen, lock screen, or both.
• Notifications: optionally report that an automatic wallpaper rotation completed. Denying this permission does not disable rotation.
• Legacy media write access: on Android 9 and earlier only, save an image to the public Pictures folder after a user action.

Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. Information is processed only as needed by service providers supporting app distribution, public content hosting, advertising and consent, on-device ML model delivery, and user-requested support. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Patta can also connect to a custom HTTPS wallpaper source that the user explicitly adds; that source is controlled by its own operator.

Retention, Deletion, and Choices

Patta's private local data remains until it is replaced, cleared in Android settings, or removed by uninstalling the app. Publicly saved images must be deleted through the user's gallery or file manager. Ad data is retained by Google and its partners under their policies. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of support records we control.

Security and International Processing

Patta blocks cleartext network traffic and uses HTTPS for its built-in service and accepted custom catalogs. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Google and hosting providers may process information in countries other than the user's country, subject to their published safeguards.

Children

Patta is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. The app's Google Play target-audience and ad settings must also be followed.

Other Alaslife Apps

Other Alaslife apps may process different information because their functions differ. For example, Alas browser loads websites and services selected by the user, and those third parties handle data under their own policies. App-specific disclosures shown in an app or its store listing supplement this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy when features, service providers, laws, or platform requirements change. We will post the revised date and policy on this page.
